Vintage 1920s Art Deco locket featuring yellow guilloche enamel. This beautiful locket is enamelled on the front and smooth silver on the back. The piece is hallmarked 'SILVER'.

Guilloche enamelling is a decorative process which is precise, intricate, it is a repetitive pattern engraved into an underlying material via engine turning with enamel. The word guilloche refers to the process of engine turning.
